This is the return to the Gold Standard, but better.  Never were people able to use physical gold for everyday purchases like a cup of coffee. The Goldback® addresses the longstanding issue of using gold in small transactions, enabling its use in any amount. Each Goldback contains a thousandth of an ounce of 24-karat gold, with the Fifty Goldback variant holding fifty times more, equating to 1/20th of an ounce.

The production process of Goldbacks involves state-of-the-art 5th generation vacuum deposition technology. The process begins with printing designs on a polymer sheet. This sheet is then exposed to a precise quantity of atomized gold particles in a vacuum chamber. The 24-karat gold adheres to the polymer, forming a striking textured negative image, and is then encased in another protective polymer layer for durability.

 

The gold is fully recoverable.  Using a small crucible and a torch, the polymer substrate can be cleanly burned away leaving behind a deposit of .9999 pure fine gold.

The first Goldbacks, the 'One' and 'Five' from the Utah Series, were released in August 2019. By the end of that year, additional denominations like the 10, 25, and 50 We present to you all available series and denominations.
